MOBILE, AL, December18, 2010 -- The Shamrock Rose and Thistle proudly welcomes Head Chef Ron (Corky) Sullivan to this British pub and tea room located in Spring Hill.
A Mobile native, Ron graduated from the Gulf Coast Culinary Institute, and brings with him an extensive knowledge and fresh enthusiasm for European and American cuisine. Ron began his career in Orange Beach, AL at Zeke’s Landing and then expanded his skills at the acclaimed NoJa Restaurant in Mobile.
As Head Chef of Mars Hill, Ron continued to expand his culinary skills and expertise with American cuisine, and his time at McSharry’s Irish Pub brought a passion for the British Gastro Pub movement. As Head Chef at Shamrock Rose and Thistle, Ron brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm from his past and a desire to offer fresh and inventive cuisine for the Gulf Coast community.
